Here is a very interesting round-up on protests in Kyrgyzstan.

Like Azerbaijan, I think that Kyrgyzstan is unlikely to expirience a peaceful democratic transition in the near future (although wouldn’t that be great) but the very fact that this is an issue there speaks highly of how much the basic premise of what constitutes a legitmate government has been transformed in the last few years.

There will be setbacks of course, but this sort of thing is wonderful to watch.

The genius chained to the official table, should die or go mad, in the same way, as the person with a mighty constitution at sedentary life and modest behavior dies of an apoplectic seizure.
