The end of the Empire?
Niall Ferguson has written a sobering Foreign Affairs article that is well worth reading.
It parallelscurrent events with events preceding WWI. I am going to have to think more about this, how signifigant the parallels are and what differences there are as well. It is also unclear what we should do if the situations are in fact very similar.
