Just as some Jews (or Christians) would go to a Mosque and some wouldn't. It is probably fair to say a higher proportion of Jews and Christians would go to a Mosque than Muslims would attend another ceremony, but I don't know that that says all that much about Islam itself, rather it is a result of a lot of complex problems in many Muslim nations, of which Islam is only one aspect.
