Iran expanding nuclear program
Iran has expanded its nuclear program by enriching uranium in a second network of centrifuges, a semi-official news agency reported Friday.The news came as world powers worked on a draft U.N. Security Council resolution that could impose limited sanctions on Iran because of its refusal to cease enrichment - a process that can produce fuel for a civilian nuclear reactor or fissile material for a warhead.
It seems clear to me that international efforts have failed, and have no hope of succeeding in the future. We are left with a choice of either a nuclear Iran or using unilateral military strikes to combat this. Clearly both options suck, but I am positive that a nuclear Iran would suck more.
