Myths About Oil
J’s Cafe Nette (via the Anchoress)
I asked my good friend COgirl to write a piece about our current energy crisis. She is proficient in the field as she and her husband are engineers who have worked in the field their entire careers.
I wish to thank her for taking the time to write this post.
Here is her unedited post:
I don’t know that anything there will surprise my readers, but it is a great summary of what the real issues behind the high price of gasoline are. As the post below indicates, I have a lot of faith in the future, but that future is medium to long term. By 2015 I expect that alternate sources for gasonline will be reletively plentiful, but for the next few years, it is going to be expensive (although I do think part of the cost of oil is a speculative bubble.)
In any event, it is a post worth reading.
