VP debate
Overall, I thought that Palin held her own, which is probably a ‘win’ for her campaign wise.
I didn’t like her early ‘I’ll answer the questions the way I want line,’ she was plainly dodging questions there, and while she can certainly answer questions how she wants, her answers should still relate to those questions. Later she settled down a lot and by the end she was very strong.
Biden did about as expected, except that he didn’t have any major gaffes, unless you count his bizarre answer about the constitutional role of the VP, which IS to provide over the senate and article I isn’t about the executive branch but defines the legislative branch. And the constitution doesn’t say anything at all about it being the VPs job to support the President. Anyone with even a basic understanding of American history should be well aware of that. Constitutionally, the VP doesn’t even have to be from the same party as the President, and in the early years wasn’t.
I also don’t like the numbers game. He voted 92 for this or he voted 27 against that. Those are numbers that don’t tell us anything really, and are usually at least somewhat deceptive.

the GOP wouldn’t dare schedule any more unscripted air time for Palin, this would give people more time to realize that she’s totally clueless… the prospect of her becoming the Commander in Chief is frightening
